Breaking Chains

On 18 October at the Black Country Living Museum, Dudley, the women chainmakers of small West Midland town Cradley Heath – who in 1910 went on strike for ten weeks, winning the first minimum wage – are remembered. The day features a procession of flags, street entertainment, music, crafting activities, local performers and speeches. Visit
